‘Rosalie’ is a great new track from Brighton-based alt-pop newcomers COWZ. The pair blend a range of influences and unique sonic textures to form a track that is fits perfectly into the distinctive style they have been crafting. It started life as a Grimes-esque dance track, but slowly became darker and edgier, morphing into the experimental-yet-catchy cut it is today. “We had so much fun making this song and it was pretty experimental for us,” they say. “It’s definitely got more edge and we love the electronic and more alternative route we took with this, lots of inspiration from artists from the Spotify Misfits 2.0 playlist, that’s for sure.” COWZ are releasing their debut EP, That’s Cute!
